Random Thought - 11/18/2002

Random Thought of the Moment

I was just talking to someone that was going to medical school...specifically in this medical school program track...and I was just thinking about how much time he was going to spend in school and basically training to be a doctor. If you think about it, a doctor spends probably around 20-25 years just training (including every bit of schooling). Now considering that you live around 75 years and are productive for around 2/3 of that time, a doctor is basically LEARNING for one HALF of their productive life...meaning that once medical school is over, your life is half over doing stuff wise.
